The Colts Neck Country Fair was established more than 30 years ago as a Fireman's Fair and has evolved into an event that serves to unite our town through fund raising, service, and a fun-loving spirit of community. The focus of the Fair has always been to foster volunteerism in our town and yearly the Fair Committee grants a "Distinguished Volunteer of the Year Award" to a township resident that has demonstrated a great commitment to service in our community.
The Fair Committee would like to extend this award by granting two $1,000 scholarships, one each to a young woman and young man, residents of Colts Neck, who will be entering their senior year of high school.
This scholarship will be for students who have demonstrated the same type of commitment to volunteerism in our community. The scholarship is intended to assist with college expenses including application fees.
