Frequently Asked Questions
The Fair is a diverse group of volunteers coming together each year to provide a memorable "Country Fair" experience that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike. Here are some of the questions we are asked most frequently.
Q: When is the fair?
A: The fair happens every August. You can check our home page
for the specific dates and times for this year.
Q: Why can't I bring my pet?
A: The fairground is filled with Rides, Games, Food, and people.
While we understand that your pet enjoys people and is well behaved,
with the crowds, noise and food, we have to be cautious for both
your pet's and our visitors sake.
Q: How do I sign up as a vendor?
A: The fair offers a number of vendor opportunities in food,
non-food, direct sales, and non-profit categories. For more
information, click on the Vendor Information menu item on the left.
Q: How much does it cost to attend?
A: The fair offers rides, games, entertainment, food and more.
We charge a parking fee to help offset our costs but no per person
fee. Games are operated by a variety of local organizations
and are charged per play. Rides use tickets which can be
purchased in the ride area and Inflatables (bouncy rides) use
separate tickets which can be purchased there.
Q: How do I get my band considered for
entertainment?
A: The fair attempts to attract a wide variety of musical acts.
You can e-mail us at
coltsneckfair@aol.com with specific information on your act as
well as links to your web site (if applicable).
Q: Is the fair smoke free?
A: The fair promotes a clean family friendly environment.
Smoking is only permitted in a designated area adjacent to the fair
grounds.
